RUBBERALL® CURED COVER STRIP DATA SHEET
DESCRIPTION:
Water Tight Technologies RUBBERALL® Cured Cover Strip is a laminate of 6" wide cured EPDM membrane and butyl tape rolled on a release paper as a "self-sticking" cover strip. Cured Cover Strip is a black EPDM rubber based product developed for use with the RUBBERALL® EPDM roofing membrane. The Cured Cover Strip has been formulated to provide high green strength in both peel and shear. It is easily applied, offers significant labor savings and avoids the inherent solvent hazards of contact adhesives.
SUGGESTED USES:
RUBBERALL® Cured Cover Strip should be used as a cover for metal drip edge, patching, repairing seams or flashings that require cured membrane.
SIZES:
RUBBERALL® Cured Cover Strip is produced in rolls of 5" by 25' in length with a nominal thickness of 0.045 inches of cured RUBBERALL® EPDM with a nominal thickness of 0.035 inches of seam tape.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Surfaces to be bonded shall be clean and dry. For maximum performance surfaces should be cleaned first with RUBBERALL® Membrane Cleaner, and primed with RUBBERALL® Seam Tape Primer. Apply Seam Tape Primer with RUBBERALL® Scrub Pads. RUBBERALL Uncured Flashing Patch shall be used at all T-Joint intersections. Overlap from one roll onto another by four inches. Apply RUBBERALL® Lap Caulk at overlap section. Roll entire Cured Cover Strip using steel hand roller for 100% adhesion. NOTE: Do not feather or trowel the lap caulk.
HANDLING:
RUBBERALL® Cured Cover Strip contains ingredients that could be harmful if ingested. Contact with skin and eyes should be avoided and necessary protective equipment and clothing should be worn.
RECOMMENDED STORAGE:
RUBBERALL® Cured Cover Strip will not degrade in normal warehouse storage. In time, the release paper may become difficult to remove. For this reason, the recommended shelf life is 12 months. ROTATE STOCK.
