Paul Mineart's early career was spent as a chemist in rubber compounding and processing for Firestone Tire and Rubber Company where he gained an appreciation for the performance of rubber products. After earning an MBA, Mr. Mineart served in a number of financial capacities. In 1983, he joined the newly created company, Firestone Building Products, a Division of Bridgestone/Firestone Inc. as Controller. In 1992 he became President of that company. Under Mr. Mineart's stewardship, Firestone Building Products experienced explosive growth becoming the leading manufacturer of commercial roofing materials in the United States and a major supplier to the European market. Recognizing his contribution to the parent company’s financial performance and success, Mr. Mineart was appointed a corporate officer, Vice President of Bridgestone/Firestone, Inc. in 1997.
Committed to supporting the growth and prosperity of the industry, Mr. Mineart served on a number of committees of the National Roofing Contractors Association and the steering committee for National Roofing Foundation/Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress.
In 1998 Mr. Mineart became President of Firestone Industrial Products. As his first love is the roofing industry, Mr. Mineart retired from Firestone after 33 years to guide New Millennium Roofing (NMR), as its first CEO. NMR is a consolidation of regional commercial roofing contractors. With sales of over $110 million, NMR was the fourth largest commercial roofing contractor firm in the U.S.
Having recognized the certain growth of an EPDM product like RUBBERALL® for the smaller contractor, Mr. Mineart co-founded Water Tight Technologies® in the year 2000 and has served as its President since inception.
Having clear evidence that energy costs were going to be a major concern for Americans for the foreseeable future, Water Tight Technologies began working on white roofing products in 2005. Today Water Tight Technologies markets two such products under the BRITE-n-EZ™ brand to address the need of the contractor and building owner who sees the clear benefits of a white roof. These products are: BRITE-n-EZ™ TPO Membrane Roof System and BRITE-n-EZ™ Roof Coating System.
Roof membranes introduced in the lasting 30 years are lasting well beyond the manufacturer’s warranty period. These same roofs are however in need of maintenance. Thus in 2009 Water Tight Technologies introduce a full line of roofing accessories that are sold directly to large contractors to address the growing demand for roof maintenance. |
