Paul Mineart's early career was spent as a chemist in rubber compounding and processing for Firestone Tire and Rubber Company where he gained an appreciation for the performance of rubber products. After earning an MBA, Mr. Mineart served in a number of financial capacities. In 1983, he joined the newly created company, Firestone Building Products as Controller. In 1992 he became President of that company. Under Mr. Mineart's stewardship, Firestone Building Products experienced explosive growth becoming the leading manufacture of commercial roofing materials in the United States and a major supplier to the European market.
Committed to supporting the growth and prosperity of the industry, Mr. Mineart served on a number of committees of the National Roofing Contractors Association and the steering committee for National Roofing Foundation/Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress.
In 1998 Mr. Mineart became President of Firestone Industrial Products. As his first love is the roofing industry, Mr. Mineart retired from Firestone after 33 years to guide New Millennium Roofing (NMR), as it's first CEO. NMR is a consolidation of regional commercial roofing contractors. With sales of over $110 million, NMR is the fourth largest commercial roofing contractor firm in the U.S.
Recognizing the certain growth of RUBBERALL® EPDM in residential roofing as well as non-roofing applications, Mr. Mineart co-founded Water Tight Technologies® and serves as its President. |
